We are so lucky that through a twist of fate Speed Limit was born in April 2005. A chance meeting at a mutual friend's barbeque reunited old friends and introduced new ones. Almost every musician who grew up in Brooklyn in the '70's knew Norman Good and his music store, Norm's Music. And many of us took similar paths in raising our families in Staten Island and Monmouth County. So on that fateful day, John, Jimmy, Mickey, Norm & Steve jammed together in the studio. It was a magical experience for us. A chance to revisit our roots of rock - with the maturity to interpret and perform the classic songs we love. Since that day in 2005, we've been joined at times by some quite talented individuals, including, Vince Viano, Stephanie Good - Norm's very talented daughter, Barry Zion - a virtuoso of Southern Rock guitar, and Eric Garcia - a master of classic rock and blues. Speed Limit's current lineup includes founder Norman Good, John Piazza, Jimmy Jardinelli, Steve Kerner, Joe Curreri, Joe Delfino and Ms. Jodi Josephson! Come celebrate with us as we perform songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and yes, some American Bands too. The Doors, Van Halen, Hendrix and lots more! Norman Good - The "glue" that binds us together. His soaring guitar and wonderful vocals contribute to Speed Limit's signature sound.
John Piazza - We call him "The Rock". Consistent, Creative and Controlled all apply. He never lets the bottom end down. He's co-captain of the rhythm section and has a special unspoken connection with Jimmy
Jim Jardinella - a musician's musician - he does it all.
Amazing drummer and Co-Lead Singer. His harmonies are true to the originals
and help to impart Speed Limit's unique sound.
Steve Kerner - keyboards and synths. He adds the textures - piano, organ and horns - make sure you ask for Speed Limit's version of "Won't Get Fooled Again"!
